"The Big Game" features New Orleans vs. Indy. Face it, not many of us have a dog in this fight.

So where better to watch a game not too many local football fans have a vested interest in (provided you didn't lay down five large on the game) than smack dab in the middle of Eagles/Giants/Jets country: Princeton.

Princeton's Chauncey Lounge is throwing a touchdown of a Super Bowl party on Sunday, where Eagles, Giants, and Jets fans can commiserate together - if only for one night.

For $15 you get the game on the big screen, nachos, franks in the blanket, chips, pretzels, suicidal, honey stung and bourbon barbecue chicken wings, six-foot Italian hoagies with fresh cut chips, pulled pork sandwiches on sour dough rolls with mustard slaw, great desserts and more! Triumph Brewing Company of New Hope presents Frontier Ruckus, this Saturday February 6th. Frontier Ruckus is an American folk-rock band from Michigan. In the beginning of 2007, shortly after the release of I Am The Water You Are Pumping, Frontier Ruckus began to receive attention in Michigan, with Metro Times considering the band "already one of the very best sounds to come out of Michigan this entire decade.” The band released its debut full-length record, The Orion Songbook, in November 2008. Way Upstate & the Crippled Summer, pt. 1 was released in 2009. In 2008, Frontier Ruckus was named "Best Folk Group" in Detroit by Real Detroit Weekly. Show starts at 10pm.

From Jan. 31 until Feb. 4, you can take advantage of a $35 dinner that includes Rodizio, salad bar and appetizers. Oyster House at 15th and Sansom is going to start hosting Tuesday Night Shrimp and Crayfish Boil. The craziness kicks off on Tuesday, Feb. 2, and will feature u-peel wild shrimp, whole crawfish and chunks of kielbasa in Creole spices for $19 a person. 

And in West Chester on Saturday, Feb. 6, you can join some of the East Coast’s most noted craft brewers at Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant for Belgium Comes to West Chester, an annual event that celebrates Belgian beers. February, the month of love, football, Mardi Gras and now beer.

Throughout next month, you can swing by McGillin's for a beer brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. There will be $3 bloody Marys, mimosas and microbrews, as well as a daily pitcher special.

As far as food, you can get eggs, Challah French toast, frittatas, and a heck of a lot more. 

Not bad for the oldest bar in the city, huh?

OK, I've got another option for you foodies and lovers on Valentine's Day. This one is Verdad Restaurant & Tequila Bar in Bryn Mawr. You'll be able to feast on a four-course Lovers Menu for $90 per couple (plus tax and gratuity). Open seating will be offered on Saturday, February 13th and Sunday, February 14th beginning at 5:00pm.

Here are the details:

First course (choice of): Boston bib salad bleu cheese, spicy cashews, granny smith apples, honey lavender dressing; Tortilla soup shooters; Duck fondida, chips; Black truffle flatbread

Fish course (choice of): Butter poached lobster tail, jicama salad, salsa Verde; Skewered diver scallops, fennel, hearts of palm salad; Grouper veracruz; Striped bass, shaved yucca, black truffle frittata

This Saturday, January 30^th, Triumph Brewing Company of New Hope is presenting Splintered Sunlight. Splintered Sunlight is the areas best Grateful Dead tribute band! The show costs $7 and starts at 10 pm.  Come check them out!

Here's another choice for Valentine's Day dinner: Prive in Old City.

The Philly favorite dining spot is offering a prix fixe four-course meal for $145.

For the first course, pick between wild mushroom salad, chop veggie salad or tomato fennel soup.

For an appetizer, your options are blue crab fritters, steak tartare, lobster barlotto and parsnip risotto.

Your main course selection includes lobster thermador, Atlantic salmon, beef tenderloin, stripped bass or lamb.

And dessert rounds things out with guava phyllo, chocolate cake or something called strawberry menage et trois. Your guess is as good as mine on what that is...

You've got a few options for where to eat for Valentine's Day. In fact, you can even choose when, and what meal. Take The Freight House in Doylestown for example. The restaurant has deals on both dinner and brunch, if you're more of an amorous person in the morning. 

For the morning crowd, you can take advantage of brunch from 10 until 2 p.m.

And for dinner, you can do it up right with a four-course meal for $50 per person. If you're really out to impress, try the wine flight pairings for another $25 per person. Dinner is served from 4 until 11 p.m.

On tap now at Triumph Brewing Company of New Hope is the Coffee and Cream Stout. A hybrid style of beer created by crossing coffee stout with milk stout. Adding unfermentable milk sugar (lactose) in the kettle results in a texture that is rich, chewy and, quite literally, creamy.

Face facts: You're probably going to be one of the millions who will be eating out on Valentine's Day. Don't try to fight it, just accept it now and make your reservations. And before you begin the debate of where to go, let me make a suggestion: Fork has a Vday dinner prix fixe menu.

It's $70 for three courses. Here's a run down:

First course, pick from lobster bisque, salmon carpaccio, oysters on the half sheel, lamb confit, agnolotti or pears over lettuce.

Second course, choose between whole lobster, lemon sole, striped bass, filet and Kobe beef short rib, a whole rack of lamb or vegetable compose.

Dessert, choose from the traditional dessert menu, which includes orange-ricotta cheesecake, lemon meringue tart and vanilla panna cotta, among others.

Right now I'm thinking one thing: Mmmm, tasty.
