Firecreek’s Sierra Nevada Beer Dinner

Posted by Kaytie Dowling

Let's get one thing straight: There are few beers in this world that make me happier than Sierra Nevada. And if you pair that with a specially designed menu perfect for the brews, I'm more content than a cat on a heater. (Don't question my analogy. It's what happiness looks like in my head.)

Aaaaanyway, you can get your own Sierra Nevada+food combo on  Wednesday, October 21 at Firecreek. Dining begins at 7 p.m. The cost is $65 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

Here's an idea of what the menu will look like:

Course one:
Duo of fresh west coast oysters with a fuji apple mignonette paired with a potato bacon bisque
Pale Ale

Course two:
Pumpkin and Sonoma goat cheese tart with toasted pecans and a roasted duck jus
Kellerweis Hefeweizen

Course three:
San Francisco style cioppino with muscles, shrimp, clam and scallops served with a creamy parmesan toast
Harvest Wet Hop Ale

Course four:
Potato wrapped boneless short rib with a cauliflower – havarti puree, crispy onions strings and a braising liquid reduction
Torpedo Extra IPA

Course five:
Dark chocolate tart with a whipped marshmallow and caramel drizzle
Stout
