Free brunch (and health advice, too)

Posted by Kristen Coppock

A vascular surgeon will be speaking to mall walkers over brunch on Thursday.

Dr. Kane Chang, director of the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Pemberton Township, will speak during a free brunch at the Cherry Hill Mall on Route 38 and Haddonfield Road. The lecture, titled “The Silent Threat: Aortic Aneurysms,” is part of a quarterly event sponsored jointly by the mall and Deborah.

The brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. is scheduled for Deborah’s Healthy Hearts Club, the mall’s official walking program. The club is a free program that encourages shoppers to exercise daily in the climate-controlled mall. Membership includes a registration card, water bottle, special give-aways, a free subscription to Pulse! magazine, the e-HealthFlash newsletter and heart-healthy recipes.

The brunch is open to new and existing members. Membership information and sign-ups are found at the Cherry Hill Mall’s Guest Services Center.
