Phillies, beer and pub food: All a Pa. resident could ask for
Posted by Kaytie Dowling
You've got less than an hour until the Phil's begin what i hope will be a very long, very red October. That's good news and bad news. Good, for the obvious reasons; bad, because you can't watch it at work. Instead, you'll have to take a late lunch to one of these bars, which I'm naming the best places to watch the game:
Buckets This Jenkintown hole-in-the-wall is a great place to take in the game with the locals. A wine bar it's not, but lots of charm and local appeal draws in the crowds.
Bailey's Again, this is not about dressing to the nines. This is about watching the game with people who understand your love for Jayson. You'll be in good company.
Chickies and Petes Nothing screams Philly sports teams like C&P's.
