Winter menu at Rouge

Now that we're in full-on fall--it is November, after all--there's nothing I crave more than macaroni and cheese. Fortunately, it's one of the big, featured items on the winter tasting menu at Rouge.

You'll also be served a sampling of scallops with risotto, salmon with root veggies, tuna with eggplant and mushroom chutney and brisket with butternut squash puree. It's enough to make a girl want lunch at 10:30 a.m. 

Unfortunately, I'll have to wait, because it's only available for dinner from Tuesdays through Saturdays. This shmorgasborg costs $55 per person, and has an optional $30 wine pairing to enhance each course.
