Pasta Night at Avril

Thursday is traditionally the night to go out for some fun, but what about Tuesday and Wednesday? Avril BYOB in Bala Cynwyd is introducing great deals for these neglected nights. Tuesday features three courses for $25 and Wednesday is Pasta Night.
The three-course menu for Tuesday offers a great butternut squash soup for those seasonably chilly nights or a festive salad including sliced apples and walnuts. Some of the entrees feature comforting dishes like coq au vin en croque, a pot pie filled with chicken braised in red wine, bacon and mushrooms served with vegetable du jour, or a wild mushroom and pumpkin ravioli. The best part is desert, and you get it all for $25.
Pasta Night on Wednesday offers traditional dishes such as Spaghetti with meatballs and Chicken Alfredo, as well as exciting plates of seared Tuna with spaghetti or mushroom gnocchi with veal.
Take your choice of two great deals on two different nights, add your own booze and a friend or two, and you get a recipe for a fun break in the middle of your week.
