Buy Tom Petty tickets get new album download

Posted by Deidre Wengen

You may or may not know that Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are releasing their first new album in eight years called "Mojo" (I didn't know about it until approximately five seconds ago). The album is set to release sometime in the next few weeks and I'll wager that fans are pretty excited about it.

Well, if you purchase tickets to see the band play at the Wachovia Center on Saturday, July 31 as part of their 2010 North American tour, you will also score a free download of the new album.

When you purchase tickets, you will be sent a download link for two songs from the album to start. Then once the album hits stores, you will be sent a link for the full album download. Seems like a pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

And, as an added bonus, ticket holders will also receive a download of live tracks from the 2010 tour when it comes to an end.

Tickets for the show are being sold exclusively through ComcastTix.com or by calling 1-800-298-4200. The sale starts on Monday, March 8th and 10:00 am.
