Girls playing Making Time in April

If you have yet to hear about Girls and their 2009 release "Album" than you'd better get on it-- quick.
This band has garnered quite a bit of praise in a short amount of time. Many critics dubbed their debut the best album of 2009 and almost everyone called it "the perfect summer record."
Front-man Christopher Owens grew up in a Children of God cult and ran away at the age of 16. Once that happened, a whole musical universe opened up to him, eventually leading him to create his own brand of sunshine-y, surfer, lo-fi rock with bandmate JR White.
The band will be heading out way on April 2nd to play Making Time at Voyeur Nightclub in Philadelphia. The show was just recently announced and the $12 tickets are sure to go quick. Make sure you head over to TicketFly soon to purchase yours in advance.
