Concert tickets on sale this week

Posted by Deidre Wengen

I don't know about you, but I am already making my concert plans for the next couple of months. If you want to get in to see some big-name acts, then you'd better get your tickets early.

That's why I'm giving you the heads-up on what tickets will be going on sale this week. Plan ahead, people.

On sale February 5th:

Snoop Dog will be doing his thing at the Theather of the Living Arts a little bit later this month. I'm sure he'll rip it up at the 18+ show on February 28th.

You can also grab tickets to go see the Drive-By Truckers with Lucero and Langhorne Slim at the Electric Factory on April 3rd. Or if you don't want to wait, jump on the pre-sale action right now by entering in the phrase "THEBIGTODO." Not my cup of tea, but worth a mention anyhow.

If you want to do something a little more indie-approved, check out Mat Kearney & Ingrid Michaelson at The Electric Factory on March 19. I can never get the Michelson-iTunes-commerical-song out of my head. It's catchy.

And don't miss out on catching funny girl Chelsea Handler at the Tower Theater in Upper Darby.

On Sale February 6th:

Wake up early on Saturday morning to score tickets to soulstress Alicia Keys in Atlantic City on March 20. That girl can sing.

The all-girl group, The Donnas, will be rocking it out in West Chester on March 27th at The Note. You can't really go wrong with these chicks.

And if you are really desperate (and I mean really desperate) you can drive all the way to Hershey, PA to get in on some Bon Jovi action. Yes, the old-school rocker is heading to the ampitheater on May 19th.
